Privacy Policy

This site collects what you enter when you book a call and uses it to prepare for and schedule that call. If you become a website client, it also collects what you enter in the intake questionnaire and uses it to build your site. It uses Google Analytics to count visits. I never sell your information.

The policy

What I collect and why.

What I collect

If you book a call, I receive what you entered. For an advertising strategy call: your name and business name, your phone number and email, your business type, and your service area. For a website call: your name and business name, your phone number and email, and your current website if you share it. In every case I also receive the time you choose and the page and advertising link you arrived from.

If you are a website client and fill out the intake questionnaire, I receive what you enter there: your name, email, and phone number, your business or brokerage details and any license number you provide, your address or service area, links to your social profiles and domain, the reviews, past work, and wording you want on the site, your answers about how you handle inquiries, and any photos or files you upload.

If you just browse the site, the only data collected is through Google Analytics. It doesn't show me who you are as a person.

How it's used

Your answers are saved to my lead system when you confirm a time. If you close the page before confirming, nothing is saved. I use them to prepare for the call, send your confirmation, calendar invite, and reminders, and follow up about working together. I don't sell or rent your information to anyone. The confirmation email includes a private link for changing or cancelling your call; anyone with that link can use it, so keep the email to yourself.

Intake questionnaire answers are saved to the same lead system as you submit them, and I use them only to plan, write, and build your website. Text messages are sent only if you check the consent box on that form.

Advertising measurement

Not yet in use. This site does not currently load Meta's pixel or send booking events to Meta. When I begin running ads, the site will load a small piece of code from Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram, that tells Meta a page was viewed, using cookies and details about your browser, so I can measure my advertising.

When that starts, my lead system will also send Meta a record of each booked call: what happened, its ID and time, and contact details such as your email and phone number, hashed before they are sent, so Meta can match the booking to an ad. This policy and the date at the top will be updated before any of that is switched on.

Your choice. You will be able to limit this in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings or by blocking trackers in your browser. The site works the same either way.

Who else touches the data

A few services make this site work, and your information passes through them:

  1. Vercel hosts the site.
  2. The software that runs my lead system and calendars stores your answers and the time you choose, and sends the confirmation and reminder emails. The intake questionnaire is served directly by that provider inside the page, so it receives your answers and uploads as you submit them, along with your IP address and browser details, and it uses a security check to block automated submissions.
  3. Google Calendar and Google Meet create the calendar invite and the video link for your call, so Google receives your name and email as a guest on that event.
  4. Meta will receive the advertising measurement data described above once ads are running, and not before.
  5. Google Analytics measures site traffic. Google processes this data on my behalf and has its own privacy policy.
  6. Google Fonts serves this site's typefaces, which means Google's servers see your IP address when the page loads.

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy and only handles what's needed to do its job.

How long I keep it

Your answers live in my lead system. I keep them as long as they're useful for working together, and I delete them if you ask.

Your choices

Email me anytime to ask what I have from you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. If we never end up working together, there's nothing to keep, and I'm happy to confirm it's gone.

Under 18

This site is for business owners and working professionals. No one under 18 may book a call, and I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated date at the top.
